Primary responsibilities
- Follow and understand industry trends and technologies in the NLP/NLU/ML domain
- Learn and understand existing NLP technology stack and be able to provide support while also looking for improvement opportunities
- Design, implement, measure and improve NLP models
- Design, implement and integrate applied NLP/NLU/ML solutions with the existing components to support a state of the art chatbot experience
- Continuously analyze usage and system metrics and recommend specific improvements to maximize usage and retention that align with goals
- Participate in project and release planning, feature demos
- Participate in the UI design process, in cooperation with designers, product managers
- Participate in code reviews
- Participate in and cultivate community driven decision making
Requirements
- 3+ years proven working experience in the NLP/ML domain
- 3+ years working experience and solid knowledge of the Python programming language
- Proven working experience with SaaS applications leveraging NLP/NLU/ML technologies
- Experience with other programming languages is a definitive advantage: Java and/or C# and/or Javascript
- Experience in shipping software from early product definition and scoping to detailed specification, implementation and roll-out phases
- Fluency in English
